Police Log

Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

12:29 a.m.: Kevin F. Willey, 58, of Petaluma was arrested at the corner of North McDowell Boulevard and East Washington Street for felony resiting arrest and felony violation of parole.

3:35 a.m.: Olivia R. Harrison, 29, of Petaluma was arrested on 5th Street for cruelty to an elder/dependent and vandalism, both misdemeanors.

9:35 a.m.: Magdalena Valencia-Reyna, 31, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 1368 N. McDowell Blvd. for felony theft of a vehicle, false impersonation of another person (also a felony), and misdemeanor driving without a license.

10:54 a.m.: Shane MAdison, 39, of San Luis Opispo was arrested on South McDowell Boulevard for felony aggravated assault and felony violation of post-release community supervision orders.

9:26 p.m.: Brandon Dobbins, 33, of Ostrander was arrested at the corner of Browns and Lakeville Highway for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.

Thursday, Feb. 8

7:49 a.m.: Brittany J. Adkins, 25, and Larry A. Beck, 61, also identified as homeless, were arrested at 1800 Petaluma Blvd. for disorderly conduct, violation of probation, and placing a polutant near state waters. Also cited at the location was Christopher Ketzler, 41, of Petaluma for disorderly conduct.

10:22 p.m.: Douglas S. Ring, 33, of Vallejo was arrested at Lakeville Street and East Washington Street for felony assault with injury.

Friday, Feb. 9

11:53 a.m.: Bradley Weiss, 19, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 505 Sunnyslope Road for misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs.

6:07 p.m.: Via R. White, 27, identified as a transient, was arrested at the corner of Lakelville Street and Petaluma Boulevar for being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

6:12 p.m.: Christopher C. Mills, 39, of Bangor, Maine, was arrested at 1367 N. McDowell Blvd. for threatening a crime with intent to terrorize (a felony) and resisting arrest (a misdemeanor).

6:34 p.m.: Raquel M. Arrelano, 18, and a 17-year-old juvenile, both of Boyes Hot Springs, were arrested at 229 N. Water St. for misdemeanor public intoxication.

7:57 p.m.: Adalberto Tellez, 23, of Bloomfield was arrested at 5012 Petaluma Blvd. for disorderly conduct.

Saturday, Feb. 10

1:44 a.m.: Martin G. Lawson, 18, of Petaluma was arrested at the corner of Keller and Mary streets for felony reckless driving and misdemeanor violation of probation.

10:05 a.m.: Claudia B. Oleksiak, 41, of Berkeley was arrested at the corner of Maria Drive and Washington Street for driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana for sale, a misdemeanor.

8:31 p.m.: Kawanza Houston, 42, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 837 E. Washington St. for driving with a suspended license while under the influence of alcohol, bot misdemeanors.

Sunday, Feb. 11

1:57 a.m.: Anthony R. Smith, 31, identified as a tranisent associated with Willits, was arrested at Kentucky Street and Washington Street for felony auto theft.

5:23 p.m.: Judith M. Pekala, 62, of Petaluma was arrested on North McDowell Boulevard at Washington Street for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol.

6:23 p.m.: Ryan P. Silva, 44, of Walla Walla, Washington was arrested at 690 Skillman Lane for misdemeanor trespassing and petty theft.

Monday, Feb. 12

12:58 p.m.: Rigoberto Velasco-Gutierrez, 26, of Santa Rosa was arrested at the corner of Eastside Avenue and Executive Drive for passing fictitious checks, posessing narcotics for sale, transporting controlled substances, selling narcotics, obstructing and resisting a police officer, and commiting a felony while on bail, all felonies.

6:35 p.m.: Maria L. Barrie, 50, of Petaluma was arrested at 900 Hopper St. on a felony outside warrant.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

8:14 a.m.: Christopher O. Philson, 33, of Santa Rosa was arrested at Caulfield Lane and South McDowell Boulevard for violation of supervised parole, a felony.

3:43 p.m.: Darell R. Pike, 55, of Petaluma was arrested at 389 S. McDowell Blvd. for battery with serious bodily injury, a felony.
