Bourbon Street Bash helps all schools

The 2018 PEF Bash, supporting the Petaluma Educational Foundation, is shaping up to be another big night of dancing, dining and auctions, according to PEF Executive Director Maureen Highland.

PEF benefits all 38 K-12 public, not-for-profit and charter schools in the Petaluma area.

On Sept. 8, school supporters will enjoy a night filled with live music, dining, dancing and more as they enter the vintage French Quarter Bourbon Street setting.

PEF’s Bourbon Street BASH will be held at the Petaluma Veteran’s Memorial Building.

The night starts with cocktails, a silent auction and Wine Wall raffle. A live auction offering an opportunity to bid on many spectacular packages featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences, all-time favorite culinary and excursion auction lots and more takes place during the elegant sit-down dinner portion of the evening.

The highlight of the night is when guests raise their paddles, pledging support for the Petaluma students who benefit from PEF’s Impact Grant program. One-hundred percent of the pledges during the Fund the Future paddle raise go to support the foundation’s annual grant program that last school year awarded $238,471 in grants. Combined with the PEF Scholarship awards, it amounts to $6,739,900 in schools support through PEF since its inception.
