Six Petaluma champions in novice tournament

Petaluma High School’s newest wrestlers made an impressive start to their season in the NBL/SCL Novice Tournament hosted by Healdsburg High School.

The Trojans had six champions in the tournament, with Brooklyn Shattuck, Nick Trave, Logan Pomi, Justin Giacomini Plubtree, Mario Zarco and Logan Wagers all taking weight-class titles.

Jack Santos finished second and Collin Fererro had a third.

Nick Tarca, Peter Parelius, Ashur King, Sunshine Sather and Fernando Marshall also competed.
