Holiday decorating contest entry deadline approaching

It may only be October, but it’s time for residents to start dusting off the decor in preparation for Petaluma’s annual City of Lights Driving Tour.|

It may only be October, but it’s time for residents to start dusting off the decor in preparation for Petaluma’s annual City of Lights Driving Tour.

The Petaluma Visitors Center is accepting entries for the Home Decorating and Business Decorating contests through Oct. 27. The theme this year is “From Petaluma with Love,” but entrants are free to choose their own themes.

Decorations must be up by Dec. 1. Judging will take place the weekend of Dec. 6-7. There is no cost to enter.

Contest entrants will be included in the driving tour map. Prizes will be awarded in the Home Decorating Contest.
