Traveling Postcards workshop raising awareness about sexual assault

The Petaluma Arts Center, Women’s Wisdom Initiative and Guided to Safety host a “Traveling Postcards” workshop to raise awareness about sexual assault from 1 to 3 p.m.|

The Petaluma Arts Center, Women’s Wisdom Initiative and Guided to Safety host a “Traveling Postcards” workshop to raise awareness about sexual assault from 1 to 3 p.m. April 12, at the arts center, 230 Lakeville St.

Participants are invited to make postcards in an effort to share wisdom and facilitate healing for women who are survivors of violence and abuse around the world. The cards may be made by anyone with a desire to enact change, empower women and girls and help battle oppression.

There is a $7 materials fee. Beverages and snacks are included.
