There are lots of chances for fun this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, the Charles Schulz Museum is holding their annual Gingerbread Doghouse Workshops. You can also find eclectic gifts at the Goddess Crafts Fair or at the holiday event at Shone Farm. And the Sonoma County Fairgrounds will be home to the 12th Annual Emerald Cup. Dec. 12 & 13

Gingerbread Doghouse Workshops: This weekend, attend one of the gingerbread doghouse workshops at the Schulz Education Annex next to the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. Workshops are 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $32. Sign up at schulzmuseum.org.

Dec. 12-13

12th Annual Emerald Cup: More than 50 world famous speakers are slated to present at this year’s cannabis festival, held this weekend at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The 12th annual event will feature glass artists, musicians, cannabis judging, 300-plus vendors and more. You don’t need a medical marijuana card to attend this 18-plus event, but you do need one to enter the “215-Area.” Admission is $55 per day, or $100 for the weekend. Saturday, Dec. 12

Breakfast with Santa: The whole family is invited to Costeaux French Bakery to enjoy breakfast and holiday cheer with Santa Claus. The big guy will be at the Healdsburg bakery on Saturday from 9-11 p.m. No reservations required, just show up and have your wish list ready. Goddess Crafts Faire: In its 21st year, explore hand-made crafts, lively performances and delicious eats at the Goddess Crafts Faire. Held 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days at the Sebastopol Community Center, the event will feature female artisans, bellydancers, Bollywood dance, global music and more. Saturday, Dec. 12

Holiday on the Farm: The SRJC’s Shone Farm is hosting an afternoon of holiday fun, and a chance to find locally-sourced gifts for your loved ones. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., shop for food, wine and crafts, visit with Santa and support your community college Ag and Wine programs. The event will include wreath-making out of grape leaves, a chance to write a letter to Santa and gingerbread cookie decorating. Find out all the details at www.shonefarm.com.

Saturday, Dec. 12

Linda Ferro Benefit: Local musicians are coming together this Saturday to help out a fellow bandleader in need. Linda Ferro, a selfless musician who has done much to raise money for those in need, suffered a stroke in September. To help alleviate some of her medical costs, a celebration will be held at Twin Oak Tavern in Penngrove. Sunday, Dec. 13

Chris Isaak: The revered musician has released 9 extraordinary albums, twelve singles, nominated for two Grammy awards and acted in several motion pictures and his own TV series.
