Buster Poindexter
He came to fame as part of The New York Dolls. His crooner’s voice is big, smooth and bluesy. His real name is David Johansen, but as Buster Poindexter, he helped to resurrect a style of Blues showmanship that had died out with Ray Charles and Joe Brown.
