BLUE OYSTER CULT

New York-based rock band Blue Oyster Cult comes to Petaluma for an 8 p.m. March 21 show at the Phoenix Theater, 201 Washington St. Formed in 1967, the band is considered a pioneer of heavy metal music both for its hard-edged sound and use of science fiction and occult imagery.
