Library Commission to consider fee increase

The Sonoma County Library Commission will consider raising fines and fee at its May 7 meeting. Chair Julia Freis said that while the commission will not take any actions at the Monday meeting, it may vote on increases at a future meeting.

"This discussion is the time for people to make their views known on paying more, including higher fines for overdue items and potential fees for requesting items."

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Armando Flores Room of the Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library at 6250 Lynne Conde Way, Rohnert Park.
