After evading police Saturday night following a violent attack on his partner, Henry Flores, 30, of Petaluma is still being sought by local law enforcement agencies. On Monday, the Sonoma County Superior Court issued two warrants for his arrest totaling $350,000.

Flores was expected in court Monday to face charged for allegedly stealing a car. When he failed to appear, the judge issued a $150,000 warrant for the stolen vehicle charges, and another $200,000 warrant related to Saturday’s domestic violence case.

On Sept. 13, police were called to a home in the 900 block of Petaluma Boulevard North to investigate a domestic violence report. They found the victim, a 22-year-old woman, with severe facial injuries that required stitches, however Flores, the alleged perpetrator, had already fled the scene. After getting treatment, the victim was moved to a safe location.

Around 7:30 p.m. that same night, neighbors called police to report that Flores was attempting to access the residence. He fled before police arrived, so law enforcement set up a perimeter and began a ground search. Additionally, the Petaluma police called in the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Helicopter “Henry 1” to search for the suspect from the air. The suspect could not be located and remains wanted by police.

He is described as a Hispanic man, 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds, with hazel eyes, a shaved head and a goatee.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts should notify the Petaluma Police Department at 778-4373, or send an anonymous tip by texting “TIP PETPD” followed by your message to 888777.
