Storm causes several road closures in Petaluma (with video)

The Petaluma Police Department is advising citizens of the following recent road closures and openings as of 1:30 p.m. Thursday:

Industrial Avenue is closed from Bob Benson Honda south to the Auto Center Drive area due to flooding. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Lakeville Highway from D Street to Highway 101 has been opened.

Jefferson Street has been opened.

Telford, Stonehedge, Andover, Dorset, Kennsington and York have all been opened.

The rain continues to fall and there remains the possibility for localized flooding. Avoid driving if possible and use caution.
