Retired nurse Cynthia Sheffield dies

Sheffield worked as a nurse at Hillcrest Hospital in Petaluma for many years.|

Cynthia Pine Sheffield passed away on Dec. 7, 2014 at the age of 74 in Rohnert Park.

Sheffield worked as a nurse for Hillcrest Hospital in Petaluma for many years as well as several hospitals in the Sacramento area. She also worked as a traveling nurse in Napa and Marin Counties.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Sheffield; children, Tamara Westbrook and Janice Millard; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sister, Marcia Pine Grierson.

Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
