Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

1:30 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 720 Petaluma Blvd. S.

4:04 p.m.: A robbery was reported at 1367 N. McDowell Blvd.

Thursday, Feb. 16

12:01 p.m.: A battery was reported at 860 Lindberg Lane.

12:55 p.m.: An incident of arson was reported at 430 Upham St.

4:49 p.m.: Police arrested Freemont’s April Hope, 41, at 401 Kenilworth Drive on felony charges of burglary shoplifting and conspiracy to commit a crime.

11:04 p.m.: Jose Nazario Ramos, a 29-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at 100 Keller St. on suspicion of a felony of attempted robbery and a misdemeanor violation of probation.

Friday, Feb. 17

1:57 a.m.: San Rafael resident Jeffery Wahler, 26, was arrested at 920 East Washington St. on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.

8:03 a.m.: Graffiti was reported at 1001 Transport Way.

3:53 p.m.: Francisco Arellano, a 28-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at a location on Baywood Drive on allegations of felony assault domestic violence with injury.

5:19 p.m.: A grand theft was reported at 2021 Harrison St.

5:43 p.m.: An auto burglary was reported at 165 North McDowell Blvd.

6 p.m.: Police received a report of a burglary at 389 North McDowell Blvd.

10:06 p.m.: Modesto’s Bryan Shipp, 47, was cited at the intersection of Browns Lane and Lakeville Highway for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs, a misdemeanor.

11:28 p.m.: A fight was reported at 23 Petaluma Blvd. N.

Saturday, Feb. 18

1:10 a.m.: Police arrested an alleged drunk driver at 146 Kentucky St.

2:20 a.m.: A fight was reported at 246 Petaluma Blvd. N.

10:25 a.m.: Laura Bernardini, a 52-year-old transient out of Petaluma, was arrested at 271 North McDowell Blvd. on suspicion of battery on a peace officer and use of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.

10:35 a.m.: A burglary was reported at 622 Jade St.

12:07 p.m.: Jason Thomas, 47, of Napa, was arrested at the intersection of Highway 116 and Lakeville Highway on misdemeanor charges of evading a police officer, driving on a license suspended after a DUI, and for an infraction of failing to stop at a stop sign.

Sunday, Feb. 19

1:13 a.m.: A fight was reported at 146 Kentucky St.

6:20 a.m.: Anthony Belle, a 32-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at a location on Cedarwood Lane on suspicion of felony assault domestic violence with injury and misdemeanor battery on a person and willful cruelty to a child. A misdemeanor charge for violating a domestic violence court order was later added.

11:20 a.m.: A vandalism was reported at 201 Fair St.

4:23 p.m.: Police arrested Petaluma’s Alexander Mansfield, 42, at a location on Petaluma Boulevard North on suspicion of a felony of stalking and a misdemeanor of violating a protective order.

Monday, Feb. 20

12:01 a.m.: A grant theft was reported at 100 Lakeville Circle.

7:51 a.m.: Roger Tschann, 46, was arrested at a location on Kentucky Street on suspicion of felony assault domestic violence with injury.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

4:02 a.m.: Elias Manesis, a 20-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at 55 Maria Drive on suspicion of misdemeanors of driving under the influence of alcohol and hit and run with property damage.

11:32 a.m.: A robbery was reported at 1010 St. Francis Drive.

1:52 p.m.: A grant theft was reported at 401 Kenilworth Drive.

3:11 p.m.: Roberta Brady, 49, of Santa Rosa, was arrested at the intersection of Starling Drive and Wren Lane on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, obstructing/resisting a peace officer, driving with suspended license and violating probation.

4:26 p.m.: A vandalism was reported at 1000 Petaluma Blvd. N.

7:53 p.m.: Ry St. Claire, a 24-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at 201 North McDowell Blvd. on suspicion of vandalism with property damage and a violation of probation, both misdemeanors.
