Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Wednesday, May 3

4:11 am.: Petaluma’s Jose Hernandez Perez, 32, was arrested at 35 East Washington St. on a misdemeanor charge of false imprisonment and a felony charge of domestic assault.

1:35 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 1280 North McDowell Blvd.

4:46 p.m.: Linda Williams, 55, of Petaluma, was arrested at 1805 Murrieta Drive on suspicion of misdemeanors of driving under the influence of alcohol, violating probation and child endangerment.

11:49 p.m.: Police arrested Petaluma resident Mike Garcia, 27, at a location on Sonoma Mountain Parkway for alleged domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

Thursday, May 4

12:58 a.m.: Police arrested Sawan Arntz, a 28-year-old Petaluma resident, at a location on Lakeville Circle on suspicion of inflicting injury on a child, a felony.

9:19 p.m.: Johnson James, 32, of Petaluma, was arrested 1717 Peggy Circle on a misdemeanor charge of a exhibiting a firearm and a felony charge of threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize.

Friday, May 5

1:58 a.m.: Nuno Silverstro, 53, of Rohnert Park, was arrested at the intersection of Petaluma Boulevard South and Shasta Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.

7:08 a.m.: Matthew Siebel, a 33-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at a location on Garfield Drive and Gilrix Court on a felony charge of assault domestic violence and misdemeanor charge of willful cruelty to a child with possibly injury.

9:01 a.m.: A 17-year-old Petaluma male was arrested at 120 Keller St. for alleged battery on a person with serious bodily injury and conspiracy, both felonies. 10:03 a.m.: Police arrested Frank Hall, an 18-year-old Petaluma resident at 120 Keller St. on suspicion of battery on a person with serious bodily injury and conspiracy, both felonies. Several minutes later, police also arrested a 17-year-old Petaluma male at the same location on felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, battery with serious bodily injury and conspiracy.

11:21 p.m.: Petaluma’s Zach Bowler, 20, was arrested at 201 Washington St. on suspicion of misdemeanor battery on a peace officer.

11:37 p.m.: A 16-year-old Penngrove male was cited at 201 Washington St. for alleged batter on a peace officer, obstructing/resisting a peace officer, offensive words in a public place and public intoxication, all misdemeanors. Several minutes later, police cited a 17-year-old Petaluma male for obstructing/resisting a peace officer.

Saturday, May 6

4:29 a.m.: Police arrested Santa Rosa’s Casey Ambrose, 30, at a location on Rene Drive on suspicion of misdemeanors of domestic battery and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.

Sunday, May 7

12:36 p.m.: William Brewster, 58, of Petaluma, was arrested at the intersection of Lauren Drive and North McDowell Blvd. on suspicion of a misdemeanor of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Monday, May 8

2 p.m.: Edgar Perez-Lux, a 34-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at a location on 7th Street for alleged domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

6:29 p.m.: Santa Rosa’s Randall Hendry, 34, was arrested at 1363 North McDowell Blvd. on a felony charge of a violation of probation, a misdemeanor charges of exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm, obstructing/resisting a peace officer, burglary/shoplifting an amount less than $950, and receiving known stolen property.

Tuesday, May 9

8:41 p.m.: Bobby Buhman, a 61-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was arrested at the intersection of Petaluma Boulevard North and Stony Point Road on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

10:48 p.m.: Andres Robledo, 21, of Santa Rosa, was arrested at 246 Petaluma Blvd. North on suspicion of a felony of battery with serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor of public intoxication.
