Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published. Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

Friday, Oct. 6

3:01 p.m.: John M. Yates, 55, of Petaluma, was arrested at 701 Oak Terrace on suspicion of battery. a misdemeanor, and threat with intent to terrorize, a felony.

11:54 p.m.: Marybeth Lehane, 52, of Petaluma was arrested on Acorn Drive on suspicion of battery on an ex-spouse. a misdemeanor.

Saturday, Oct. 7

1:00 a.m.: Petaluma’s Eduardo Hernandez, 26, was cited on Lauren Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol.

10:53 a.m.: Andrew Feltrop, 31, of Petaluma was arrested at 400 McDowell Blvd., on a midemeanor charge of violation of probation.

10:44 p.m.: Petaluma’s Thomas Harmon, 25, was cited on Petaluma Boulevard for driving under the influence.

11:55 p.m.: Novato’s Aaron Paff, 21, was arrested in Novato on suspicion of fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run. Paff, a Casa Grande High School graduate, is suspected of driving his pickup into four cyclists on Saturday, critically injuring one during a mass bike ride in north Marin County just west of Petaluma. The CHP said witnesses told them the crash appeared to be intentional, and officials spent 12 hours tracking down Paff. The CHP is investigating the incident.

Sunday, Oct. 8

12:39 a.m.: Maria Alcantar, 34, of Hayward was arrested on Petaluma Boulevard on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle, and related felony charges, and Andres Vargas, 25, of Hayward, was arrested on a felony warrant, at the same location.

1:31 p.m.: Sherri Uland-Schleth, a 44-year-old transient from Guerneville, was cited at Petaluma Valley Hospital, 400 McDowell Blvd., for a misdemeanor bench warrant.

2:34 p.m.: Police arrested Aaron Leon, 25, of Petaluma at his home on Hogwarts Circle on suspicion of battery on an ex-spouse, a felony.

3:22 p.m.: Ashley Christensen, a 20-year-old transient, was arrested at Kohl’s, 1363 N. McDowell Blvd., on suspicion of misdemeanor shoplifting and violation of probation.

10:02 p.m.: Jesus Soto Chavez, 33, of Petaluma was arrested at 752 Lakeville Ave., for a hit and run incident, along with driving under the influence and a bench warrant, all misdemeanors.

Monday, Oct. 9

12:32 a.m.: Police arrested Petaluma’s Riley T. Daniele, 21, at 200 Eckmann Place for a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

11:59 p.m.: Petaluma’s Jorge Rodriguez-Ramirez, 39, was arrested at 1510 E. Washington St. for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.
