The St. Vincent High School softball team suffered its first loss of the North Central League II season when it was beaten, 7-6, at Calistoga by a two-run walk-off home run.

St. Vincent had gone ahead, 6-5, in the top of the seventh on a two-run double by Mary Cerf. But in the bottom of the inning, Calistoga’s Gianna Lincoln blasted a two-run homer to win it for the Wildcats.

Hailey Antonini had three hits, including a homer and a double, to drive in three runs for the Mustangs. Hannah Sarlatte also homered for St. Vincent.

St. Vincent bounced back from that loss to belt Rincon Valley Christian, 18-2, in a game that was called after five innings.

St. Vincent took all the mystery out of the game early, scoring 10 runs in the first inning.

McKenna Wilson-Kay, Erin Sammon and Mary Cerf each had two hits for St. Vincent, with Antonini belting a double.

St. Vincent received 14 walks in the game.
