Camp to Remember

Former Petaluma High School and University of Arizona softball star Sam Garrett (Banister) will be conducting a Camp to Remember sponsored by TDS sports at Wiseman Park from July 21 through July 23.

The camp will feature instruction by current and recent college and professional players in all aspects of softball - strength and conditioning, hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, fielding, base running, sliding and bunting.

The camp is for all girls 8 and under through 16 and under. Girls 8 through 12 will participate from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 14 through 18 will receive instruction from 2 to 5 p.m.

β€œThe girls are going to get a lot of attention from coaches who have played the game and are still able to show them, as well as tell them,” Garrett said.
