Corley pitches Hernis to shutout win

Bobby Corley pitched a route-going two-hitter to hurl Henris Roofing to a 6-0 win over the Petaluma Valley Athletic Club in a Petaluma American Little League game.

One of the hits allowed by Corley was an infield single as he struck out 14 and walked just one. He faced just 22 batters. He struck out the side twice and had at least two strikeouts in each inning.

At the plate he went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Luke Karlson was a big help to his pitching teammate as he caught the entire game.

Henris leadoff hitter Wyatt Abramson was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Clean-up hitter Donavin Abramson doubled and drove in a run.

Corley and Abramson doubled back-to-back in the first inning to give Henris its first run and the only support Corley would need.
