Forfeits cost Petaluma Junior High wrestlers in loss to Healdsburg.|

The Petaluma Junior High School wrestling team gave away too many forfeit points, losing its opening match to Healdsburg Junior High, 54-30.

Petaluma’s Bantams won as many matches on the mat as Healdsburg, but lost on forfeit points.

Colin Ferrero, Brooklyn Shattuck, Andy Anduweil, Hayden Williams, Lucas Bettencourt, Kim Larsen and Jack Santa were all on-mat winners for the Bantams.

Also participating for Petaluma were Rick James, Matt Baumsteidger, Sophia Gardea, Logan Pomi, Sushine Sather, Wyatt Gray, Amelia Grevin, Ray Roy and Isaac Oliva.
