Saturday, Feb. 28

1:20 p.m. - Fire fighters responded to an accident at North McDowell Boulevard and Old Redwood Highway. Two vehicles were involved, with one person needing to be transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital for a minor leg injury.

12:12 p.m. - Four vehicles were involved in an accident on Highway 101.

Firefighters reported three people suffering from minor injuries. They were transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital.

Thursday, Feb. 26

12:58 a.m. - A man was injured and transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital after crashing his vehicle following pursuit by police. The accident took place on Highway 101 near the Lakville South off-ramp. The middle-aged man was handcuffed by police before receivig medical aid.

Wednesday, Feb. 25

9:50 a.m. - Fire fighters responded to a fire behind a residence at 330 Vallejo Street. The fire reportedly contained cut lumber and gas. The wner of the property was at work when the fire brke, and told fire department officias he’d placed ashes in a plastic container before leaving for work. The ashes were still hot and caught the plastic container on fire, which then spread to the lumber. Nobody was hurt and the fire was ruled an accident.

Monday, Feb. 23

1:24 p.m - Fire units respoded to a blaze at 2700 Old Adobe Road. The fire involved stored farm and ranch equipment as well as several cases of wine. Fire fighters formed an attack line, extinguished the fire, with no harm to any individuals. Wine was also saved.
