Long also created two 5-Minute Street Play Festivals in 2009 sponsored by the Arts Council of Sonoma County and has reviewed numerous plays for ForAllEvents.com. Rivertown Poets was designed to unite seasoned poets and amateurs in the spirit of mutual enjoyment and celebration of the spoken word.

Listeners are invited to attend the free event and bring a poem or two to share during the open mic.

Open mic signups begin at 6:30 p.m.

The series continues on the first Monday of each month at 6:40 p.m.
