Petaluma Valley Rotary brings Safari to seniors

The Petaluma Valley Rotary Club brings lemur, wallaby, African serval and other animals to visit seniors.|

Education doesn’t stop in school. The Rotary Club of Petaluma Valley brought a hands-on learning experience, not to mention excitement, to the Petaluma Senior Center.

About 65 people enjoyed an fun, education experience presented by Classroom Safari.

The presentation included a baby lemur, a wallaby, an African serval and several other animals.

After the animal show, Rotarians provided a home-cooked meal for the residents. All the food was cooked from scratch and included grilled vegetables, Rosemary chicken and many delicious desserts.
