Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Monday, August 26

6:09 p.m. - John G. Westin, 46, of Petaluma was arrested on Washington Street on suspicion of felony false imprisonment, domestic violence assault and misdemeanor violation of probation.

6:13 p.m. - Stephen J. Carbonaro, 44, of Petaluma was arrested on Edith Street on suspicion of misdemeanor being under the influence of a controlled substance and felony violation of probation.

Sunday, August 25

12:26 a.m. - Jeffrey D. Walkup, 44, of Petaluma was arrested on Bradford Court on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

2:28 a.m. - John D. Costa, 25, of Novato was arrested on Sixth Street at F Street on suspicion of DUI.

Saturday, August 24

12:15 a.m. - Robert J. Nagle, 24, of Petaluma was arrested on East Washington Street at Lakeville Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

12:34 a.m. - Molly N. Drew, 24, of Petaluma was arrested on Lakeville Street at East Washington Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

1:22 a.m. - Finn S. Boldrick, 26, of Petaluma was arrested on Lakeville Street at East Washingotn Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

2:27 a.m. - Susan A. Bordner, 47, of Cotati was arrested on East Washington Street on suspicion of DUI.

10:22 a.m. - Andrew K. Lujan, 51, and Jasmin Hamdorf, 59, both of Petaluma, were arrested on Cedar Grove Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance with an intent to sell.

1:52 p.m. - Cecilia R. Alvarez, 30, of Petaluma was arrested on Baywood drive on suspicion of felony domestic violence assault.

11:51 p.m. - Shane N. Parks, 57, of Sonoma was arrested on Lakeville Street at East Washington Street on suspicion of DUI and violating probation.

11:30 a.m. - Jason M. Remel, 32, of Petaluma was arrested in the 100 block of Margo Lane on suspicion of felony burglary and knowingly receiving stolen property.

Thursday, August 22

12:56 a.m. - Joshua B. Mertz, 25, of Petaluma was arrested in the 400 block of North McDowell Boulevard on suspicion of felony robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

6:20 a.m. - Christine M. Hall, 25, of Petaluma was arrested in the 800 block of Petaluma Boulevard North on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

1:07 p.m. - Martin A. Escamilla, 49, of Petaluma was arrested in the 100 block of Fairgrounds Drive on suspicion of felony battery with a serious injury.

6:49 p.m. - Desmond N. Murphy, 52, of Petaluma was arrested on Madison Street at Vallejo Street on suspicion of felony possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, violation of probation and driving on a suspended licence.

11:16 p.m. - Jagdish J. Chand, 43, of Petaluma was arrested in the 1700 block of Clairmont Court on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, August 20

5:39 a.m. - Jose R. Bracamontes, 22, of Petaluma was arrested on Lakeville Circle on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence battery.

8:01 a.m. - Burglary from a vehicle was reported n Margo Lane.

9:20 a.m. - Grand theft from a building was reported on North McDowell Boulevard.
