As Petaluma continues to face low temperatures, many residents are turning up the heat. Meanwhile, many are saying they are facing some of the highest PG&E bills they’ve seen, even if their energy consumption hasn’t necessarily increased drastically.

Staff reporter Amelia Parreira is uncovering the “why” in such situations and is seeking Petaluma residents who feel they are close to breaking the bank by paying their PG&E bill.
